The Intermediary Mortgage Lenders Association (Imla) has elected its new management committee for 2026, with Coventry Building Society head of intermediary relationships Jonathan Stinton appointed as chair.
Stinton succeeds HSBC UK’s Richard Beardshaw, who has completed his two-year term after overseeing a period of significant market change and intensive regulatory engagement.
Having served on IMLA’s management committee since 2023, Stinton brings extensive experience in intermediary relationships across the building society sector.
Alongside Stinton on the committee will be Scottish Widows Bank & Halifax Intermediaries head Amanda Bryden; Accord Mortgages managing directors Jeremy Duncombe, Aldermore Bank head of strategic partnerships Nicola Goldie; and Skipton Building Society director of business development Paul Fenn.
Imla also confirmed Suffolk Building Society head of intermediaries Charlotte Grimshaw and Gen H sales and distribution Sara Palmer are co-opted members for 2026.
