The driver, 29-year-old Joshua Rowson, allegedly had two kids in the back seat when he slammed into parked cars as he tried to get away last night.

“We were all getting ready for bed at the same time actually and I said, ‘There’s something going on out the front’,” resident Elizabeth Ogilvie told 9News.

After allegedly failing to stop for police on Pearson road at 10.40pm, the Holden Commodore hit a dead end.

The driver’s next move is hard to see on the CCTV footage but he’s accused of ramming a police car.
