CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – Northeast Ohio streets are safer Friday after U.S. Marshals announced that three murder suspects are behind bars.
Here’s who the Marshals say they arrested during the last week.
Jaylin Tyler, 20, who was wanted by Toledo police for the aggravated murder of Derrick Rogers, 18.
Anthony Ortiz, 28, who was wanted by Cleveland police for an aggravated murder in September 2024.
Quinterious Parker, 23, who was wanted by Mobile police in connection to the murder of Frenicka Craig, 28, in Alabama.
“Each and every day, members of our task force pursue wanted, dangerous fugitives. This week, in three consecutive days and in three different cities in northern Ohio, our task force was investigating and arresting fugitives wanted for violent offenses.”
Marshals say Tyler was involved in the deadly shooting of Rogers on Jan. 6, and he was arrested Tuesday on Secor Road in Toledo.
On Sept. 28, 2024, Cleveland police found a body inside a burned out car on East 134th Street. Marshals say Ortiz is accused of being involved in the murder and was arrested Wednesday on Hollywood Avenue in Maple Heights.
According to Marshals, Parker is one of several people accused in the murder of Craig on April 12 in Mobile, Ala. Investigators say Parker was arrested on Thursday on Milan Road in Milan.
